OWED SOAP
About Us
Owed Soap is a high school-run initiative committed to reducing waste by transforming a waste product into a valuable resource, promoting cleanliness and hygiene. We collect used oil and convert it into soap, which is then donated to those in need, including the homeless community. Our mission is to eventually partner with humanitarian organizations to distribute our soaps internationally, reaching countries that lack adequate hygiene resources.

Our Story
Every year, approximately 200 million gallons of cooking oil, contributing to environmental pollution. At the same time, over 3 billion around the world lack access to proper hygiene. Cooking is a universal activity, and oil is a staple in kitchens worldwide. From a simple lesson from a biology class, we discovered that by collecting used cooking oil, we can create a "waste" product into a valuable resource that can be used to save lives and promote hygiene.
We are passionate students from around the US, committed to making a difference. Our mission is to spread our soaps worldwide and provide the basic right of hygiene underserved communities. Join us in our efforts to create a cleaner and healthier world.
